Dr. Allan Adajar, MD has dedicated a substantial portion of his training towards mastering advanced surgical techniques. Prior to his residency training in OB/GYN in Chicago, IL, he completed two years of training in General Surgery. He went on to do a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at one of the top institutions in the country, The Methodist Hospital of Houston, Texas. He is a fellow of both the American college of Surgeons and the American College of OB/GYN.
After being an employed as a generalist in the Chicagoland area for several years, he left employment in 2015, to start his own practice, focusing on office gynecology and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
After only 10 months in private practice, Dr. Adajar obtained the esteemed designation as a Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery.
Dr. Adajar is a pioneer in mini-laparoscopic techniques, having multiple publications and presentations shown throughout the country.
He serves as a surgical consultant for both Stryker Endoscopy and Teleflex Inc. His pursuit to perform the painless hysterectomy, with the least amount of scarring, at a significantly reduced cost, serves as the foundation of his evolving technique.
