• As a Chief Medical Resident and Instructor in Medicine at Jefferson Health, Benjamin Claxton, MD, MPH leads a team of resident physicians in providing high-quality patient care in a busy academic medical center. He also oversees the curriculum, evaluation, and mentorship of the internal medicine residency program, with a focus on fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in medicine. He has developed strong skills in clinical reasoning and clinical operations.
  
  In the summer of 2024, he will begin fellowship in pulmonary/ critical care at Johns Hopkins, with the goal of becoming a leader in clinical research and education.
