  • Bruce J. Lanser, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, Department of Pediatrics, at National Jewish Health (NJH) and the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2009, and completed a pediatric residency as well as serving as Pediatric Chief Resident at UT Southwestern and Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. He went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at NJH in 2015, and is a fellow of both the American College of Allergy Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI), and the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI). In May 2020 he obtained a master’s degree in Public Health from the Colorado School of Public Health with an emphasis on leadership and school health. Through this work, he has established relationships with advocacy groups and the Colorado Department of Education.

    At National Jewish Health, Dr. Lanser is the Director of the Pediatric Food Allergy Program and the Pediatric Allergy and Immunology fellowship training program. He is a co-investigator for the NIH/NIAID-sponsored Consortium of Food Allergy Research (CoFAR), and PI for the FARE - Food Allergy Research and Education - Clinical Network Center of Distinction at NJH, conducting clinical research investigating treatment for food allergies and prevention. Dr. Lanser’s clinical interests include food allergy and immunotherapy, anaphylaxis, FPIES, and school health.
