- Pediatric hematologist/oncologist, neuro-oncologist at Rady Children's Hospital. Assistant Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics at UC San Diego. Completed my PhD at the University of Toronto studying pineoblastoma, and was among the first to identify and characterize its distinct molecular subgroups (now recognized by the WHO). I currently focus on the development of blood-brain barrier crossing nano-therapeutics for aggressive brain tumors like diffuse midline gliomas/DIPG.
