Dr. Cirstea is a board certified neurologist in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Cirstea received her medical degree from the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 1994. Dr. Cirstea completed her internship in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s Medical Center / Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland OH, and her neurology residency at Boston University Medical Center in Boston, MA. She served as Chief Resident during the third year of neurology residency.Dr. Cirstea completed also a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology, which included training in Epilepsy and Neuromuscular disorders, at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester, MA. She attended also the J. Kiffin Penry Epilepsy MiniFellowship. Before opening her own private practice, Dr. Cirstea worked in private practice in San Antonio, TX and New London, CT. Dr. Cirstea is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since 2005.
