Summary

  • I am a double board-certified facial plastic head and neck surgeon. I offer a full range of surgical and medical options including Botox, fillers (Juvederm, Sculptra, etc.,), laser resurfacing, skin rejuvenation and BBL/IPL treatments. I perform rhinoplasty ("nose jobs"), blepharoplasty ("eyelid surgery") and rhytidectomy ("facelifts") as well as facial/neck liposuction, lip and cheek augmentation ("lip and cheek implants") and otoplasty ("ear pinning").

I have an interest in skin cancer and team with dermatologists to rebuild MOHS surgery defects after a patient's skin cancer resection. I also resect/reconstruct other facial, scalp and neck skin cancers (including squamous cell carcinoma [SCC], basal cell carcinoma [BCCs], melanomas, Merkel cell carcinomas, and other rarer skin cancers).

Specialized nasal and ear reconstructions are also part of my surgical repertoire. The use of ear cartilage or skull bone grafts, skin grafts (full and split thickness grafts) and other tissue flaps (including paramedian forehead flaps, temporoparietal fascial flaps, and rib cartilage grafts) can be used for full or partial thickness defects and to reconstruct partial, subtotal or, in rare cases, total nose and/or ear defects from cancer resections.

Additionally, I treat patients with head and neck melanoma and offer sentinel node biopsy surgery to these patients if needed (as well as further extended resections of the salivary glands [parotid or submandibular glands] or neck nodes [via neck dissections] to eradicate the spread of cancer found).

I serve as a craniofacial trauma and reconstructive surgeon at the local hospitals where I have admitting privileges. I perform both initial and revision reconstructive surgeries and offer surgery to reanimate facial paralysis. I work very hard at educating myself and stay abreast of the current trends in cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries by attending regional, national and international meetings in these subjects.
