• Dr. Deniz Gerecci MD is a facial plastic surgeon seeing patients in Lake Oswego, OR and the Sellwood neighborhood of Portland, OR. She is board certified in Otolaryngology- Head & Neck Surgery and fellowship trained in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. She specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the face, head, and neck including: facelift, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, brow lift surgery, facial implants, fat transfer. She is also highly trained in cosmetic injectables including botox, dysport, jeuveau, restylane, juvederm, and other products.
  
  She obtained her BA in Plan II Honors from the University of Texas at Austin. She attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. During that time she discovered her interest in head & neck surgery. Dr. Gerecci then joined the medical staff at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon for her surgical residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. There she discovered her passion and interest in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive surgery.
  
  During her time in residency she authored several publications and presented at several national meetings on topics such as rhinoplasty suturing and grafting techniques, long-term outcomes after rhinoplasty and evolution of facelift techniques. She was awarded the first place basic science and clinical science awards at the annual resident research symposium several years in a row. Dr. Gerecci also traveled to Peru with the FACES Foundation surgical team to perform cleft lip and palate surgery. During her chief resident year, she organized and led an educational filler and injection clinic to train residents in cosmetic injection techniques. Using her knowledge of complex head & neck anatomy, attention to surgical technical detail and dedication to patient outcomes and satisfaction, she is excited to be a part of the journey in helping patients look and feel better about themselves.
