  • Dr. Ramay earned her Medical Degree with a Distinction in Bioethics at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY where she was awarded the Albert M. Yunich Prize, for excellence in Gastroenterology. She completed her Internal Medicine training in July 2015 and is currently completing fellowship in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology with a focus on endoscopic therapies for Barrett's esophagus-associated dysplasia and esophageal cancer. Her research interests include efficacy of endoscopic ablation therapy including radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and liquid nitrogen spray cryotherapy in the management of Barrett's esophagus-associated dysplasia and esophageal adenocarcinoma. She has co-authored numerous book chapters, peer-reviewed journal articles and presentations at Digestive Disease Week (DDW). Her clinical interests include esophageal disease as well as therapeutic and interventional endoscopy.
