Summary
- Director of MFM services in the southern market for the Canyons region of intermountain Health. Professor Ob/Gyn University of Kentucky MFM and associate at High Risk Pregnancy Center, Reno, NV. Chief Medical Officer at Ultrasound.AI, a startup harnessing the power of artificial intelligence that recognizes inherent signals in obstetrical sonograms to predict obstetrical complications. Previously served as Chief Medical Officer at Sera Prognostics, which developed the PreTRM blood test to objectively assesses a mother's individual risk of premature birth.
My work experiences have encompassed full time clinical office and hospital based consultation, obstetrical procedures including percutaneous and open fetal surgery, administrative leadership, QA/QC responsibilities for level III perinatal centers, completion of national and international clinical research projects, collaboration with industry based R&D and commercial teams, and service on national committees regarding clinical guideline communication and implementation of utilization strategies useful to the practicing community. I remain involved with research, primarily focusing on methods and solutions for detection and treatment of preeclampsia and preterm labor. I also work with fellows and junior faculty regarding professional development activities.
