• Dr. Williams is a Hospitalist with Sentara Healthcare. She is a native New Yorker who brings passion and vitality to her team, hospital and community. Dr. Williams was appointed Chief of Medicine in 2018 and now serves as the Vice-President of the Medical Executive Committee at Sentara Careplex Hospital. She also serves as an active participant of the Sentara Medical Group Board of Directors and Co-chairs the Wellness & Engagement Subcommittee. She is an advocate for all providers in the fight against moral injury and provider burnout. Her most recent endeavor is the creation of a hospital-based "Resilience & Wellness Initiative" that will promote & sustain a culture of compassion, empathy, and support while building resilience and improving the mental health and overall well-being of all providers."
