- Dr. Jaime Gasco MD, FAANS, FEBNS, is board certified in neurosurgery by both the American and European Boards of Neurological Surgery and has over a decade of experience in neurosurgical care. He has an interest in alternatives to surgical treatment for the relief of pain, giving his patients a full spectrum of treatment options for pain relief.In addition, Dr. Gasco is certified in advanced minimally invasive spine surgery options for those patients where the more conservative options have been exhausted. Dr. Gasco is an active member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Texas Association of Neurological Surgeons and Spine Intervention Society. He has published over thirty articles in peer reviewed journals, authored several books in the field, and has received awards for work during his tenure at the University of Texas Galveston. He was honored to be named member of the Academy of Master Teachers for his contributions to neurosurgical training and education. He regularly attends educational and hands-on training courses to further the quality of care he provides to our community.
