    Dr. Noftz earned his MD from the Medical College of Ohio — now the University of Toledo College of Medicine — in 2001, and a BS in Physical Therapy from Bowling Green State University in 1992, where he was recognized as the top graduate of his class. He maintains active Ohio licensure in both medicine and physical therapy, a dual background that shapes his approach to musculoskeletal and sports medicine.
    From 2004 through 2025, Dr. Noftz served as Head Team Physician for BGSU Athletics, a 21-year tenure across all varsity sports.
    His clinical interests include primary care, sports medicine, concussion evaluation and management, musculoskeletal injury, and preventive health and wellness. He is currently establishing a Direct Primary Care practice serving the Bowling Green community.
