Karam Badran, MD, is a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and otolaryngologist–head and neck surgeon with The Permanente Medical Group in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Dr. Badran graduated with honors from the University of California, San Diego and earned his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at UCLA, followed by fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at UCSF.

His clinical interests include rhinoplasty and nasal surgery, facial rejuvenation, eyelid surgery, facial reconstruction, skin cancer reconstruction, and facial trauma. Dr. Badran has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and has presented his research nationally and internationally.
