  • Kevin Shah is an Assistant Professor as part of the Cardiac Mechanical Support, Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology team at the University of Utah. He earned his medical degree from University of California, Irvine, where he was inducted in to the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Following this, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California San Diego where he won the Kaiser Teaching Award for Housestaff and the House Officer of the Year Award. He went on to complete his training in Cardiovascular Disease at UCLA where he was nominated for the UCLA Fellow's Teaching Award and received the William W. Parmley Young Author Achievement Award from JACC. He completed his Advanced Heart Failure Fellowship at one of the busiest programs in the nation at Cedars Sinai Heart Institute in Los Angeles, CA.

    His interests are in Advanced Heart Failure, COVID-19 and the Cardiovascular System, and Heart Disease in the South Asian community.
