His areas of experience include hernias, minimally invasive surgery, general and gastrointestinal surgery, acute care surgery, and clinical informatics. Dr. Sexton has been involved in research, having published several studies in medical journals, and has received multiple honors including CMS Meaningful Use certifications, Phi Beta Kappa, and was an Administrative Chief Resident during his training.
