His experience includes labor and delivery, newborn care, hormone therapy, infertility evaluation, contraception, public health, hospitalist medicine, and women's health among others. Dr. Nelson has published several articles in journals in addition to book chapters and has received multiple regional and national awards, including a recent Faculty Teaching Award from the University of Arizona from his work with students.
