Summary
- I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner with a background in working with patients who struggle with a variety of challenges life may present to us. My experience includes working with patients struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, sleep disorders, gender dysphoria and bipolar disorder. This work has helped me to develop my perspective on the challenges that we all face, and how I can best engage my patients as a part of their overall care. I provide compassionate and judgement-free care and prefer a collaborative and holistic approach in my treatment philosophy. It is an honor to educate my patients so that they can make an informed decision about the best care for themselves. I view the role of medication as one of many tools that we have, in addition to resiliency-building approaches such as therapy, healthy living, sleep hygiene, and the importance of the mind-body connection.
