Summary

Dr. Norman Whitmire graduated from Yale School of Medicine in 1995 and completed his internship at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, followed by a residency at Main Line Health System/Lankenau Medical Center. He practiced at Woodburn Internal Medicine Associates (Fairfax, VA) from 1999-2002 and Mount Vernon Internal Medicine (Alexandria, VA) from 2002-2008. During that time, he accompanied a local orthopedics team as a medical consultant on three mission trips to Central & South America. In 2008, he left the practice of medicine to study for a Masters of Divinity (M. Div.) at the Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, VA and graduated in 2011. He was ordained a priest in the Episcopal Church and has served at churches in Ashburn, VA, Fairfax Station, VA, and Washington, DC. Since 2013, he has served as the Rector (pastor) of All Saints Episcopal Church in Woodhaven (Queens), NY.
