Dr. Rabia Khan is an emerging final-year resident in Internal Medicine at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in the Atlanta area. She takes a particular interest in caring for economically disadvantaged and elderly patients. Dr. Khan grew up in Pakistan and moved to Vancouver when she was eighteen, giving her a unique perspective on life and shaping her approach to medicine and clinical care. As an international medical graduate, Dr. Khan had the opportunity to have her rotations and engage in research with faculty members at the University of Washington, Columbia University, Drexel University, Virginia Mason Hospital, Swedish Hospital, and Brookdale Hospital. When she is not practicing medicine, she enjoys practicing Bollywood dance forms and other artistic collaborations like acting in theater productions. Interestingly, while in college at the University of British Columbia, she gained fame as a henna tattoo artist, and she was also featured in a local business journal.
