  • I am a thoracic (chest) surgeon and surgical oncologist (cancer surgeon) specializing in surgery of the lungs, pleura, esophagus, chest wall, mediastinum, and diaphragm. Specific areas of expertise include mesothelioma, esophageal cancer, lung cancer, thymus tumors, pectus deformities (excavatum or carinatum), hyperhidrosis, and lung volume reduction surgery (LVRS). I offer a broad range of services in the field of surgical chest diseases from cancer screening to radical surgery and the most advanced clinical treatment trials.

    I provide comprehensive expert surgical services to patients with all types of diseases of the chest, including lung volume reduction surgery (LVRS) for emphysema, thoracic sympathectomy for hyperhidrosis, first rib resection for thoracic outlet syndrome, pectus excavatum/carinatum repair, esophageal procedures for hiatal hernia and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and surgical removal of benign and malignant tumors (cancer) of the chest, i.e., lung cancer, mesothelioma, esophageal cancer, thymoma and other thymic tumors, sarcoma, and germ cell tumors. We use the entire range of latest surgical techniques, including lasers, bronchial (airway) and esophageal stents, video- and computer-assisted (robotic) surgery.
