Summary

  • As an incoming Family Medicine resident, I am driven by a profound passion for working with underserved populations and advocating tirelessly for my fellow physicians and my patients. With a strong commitment to holistic healthcare and cultural competence, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive medical care tailored to diverse communities' unique needs. Through my clinical experiences and academic pursuits, I have cultivated a deep understanding of the social determinants of health and the importance of equitable access to quality care. I am eager to embark on this journey in residency, where I can further refine my skills, expand my knowledge, and continue to make meaningful contributions to the well-being of individuals and families under my care.

I am honored to be the Founder and former Chair of the American Medical Women’s Association IMG Initiative, where our primary goal is to facilitate the integration of foreign physicians into the American healthcare system. Through this initiative, I am committed to fostering a supportive environment for IMGs, ensuring they have the resources and guidance necessary to excel in their careers and serve diverse patient populations effectively.

Additionally, I am proud to serve as the Producer and Host of "Pluripotenciales," a podcast in Spanish dedicated to sharing valuable insights on career development within the medical field. Through engaging discussions and motivational content, "Pluripotenciales" inspires younger physicians to pursue their dream jobs while navigating the complexities of the healthcare industry. By amplifying diverse voices and experiences, I aim to empower the next generation of medical professionals to reach their full potential and make a meaningful impact in healthcare delivery.
