He and his wife work to improve the lives of cancer patients in Africa through collaborating in training and establishing national Psycho Oncology associations. They work to alleviate poverty and malnutrition in Central America through programs in land ownership, establishing medical, fetal/early childhood nutrition programs, and microloans for women.
