- Thomas S. Edwards, MD is an assistant professor in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Edwards’ clinical interest is in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the paranasal sinuses and anterior skull base. He specializes in the treatment of chronic sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, cerebrospinal fluid leaks, and paranasal sinus tumors and enjoys collaborating with his neurosurgical colleagues in the management of pituitary and anterior skull base tumors.
Dr. Edwards graduated with his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in 2016. He then completed his residency in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at Emory University School of Medicine in 2021. Following residency he completed a fellowship in rhinology, sinus, and skull base surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina before returning to join the faculty at Emory in 2022. Prior to his medical career, Dr. Edwards was a middle school science teacher in rural Mississippi with Teach For America.
