Summary

• Dr. Victoria Sewell is a psychiatric provider. She is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and is licensed to practice in multiple states nationally. Dr. Sewell completed her graduate degree and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program with residency requirement at Wilkes University. She completed her doctoral with residency and EBP clinical emersion capstone requirements at Chatham University. Her capstone work focused on psychiatric illnesses among the homeless population.
  Dr. Sewell applies evidence-based knowledge and a biopsychosocial approach in practice. She also utilizes complementary and alternative medicine as adjunctive tools to support holistic healing. She prescribes judiciously with safety as paramount and according to the American Psychiatric Association’s recommendations. Dr. Sewell treats patients ages 12 and above. She diagnose and treats general psychiatric disorders including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, personality disorders, addictions, psychotic disorders, eating disorders, insomnia, among others.
  Dr. Sewell also has experience working with the migrant population at the US-Mexico border, the homeless population, at community mental health clinics, addiction centers and telepsychiatry.
