Following medical school, residency, and fellowship training at the University of Maryland Medical Center, he co-founded and led the Kidney Health Center of Maryland for a decade. He has also worked as a clinical VP at the three hospitals of the University of Maryland Medical System - Shore Regional Health. From 2010 to 2017, he served on the Maryland Healthcare Commission (part of Maryland’s CMS Waiver program) and the Renal Physicians Association (RPA) Board of Directors.
Dr. Weinstein continues to maintain a small clinical practice and serves as the representative to the AMA’s Relative Value Update Committee (RUC) on behalf of the Renal Physicians Association.
