Summary

• I presently serve as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Monte Nido Rosewood in Wickenburg AZ. I am dually Licensed as a PMHNP and FNP. My previous employment was as a Neurology NP for an Ambulatory Neurology Practice in Glendale AZ. In that capacity I evaluated and managed general neurological conditions including movement disorders, headaches, migraines, spasticity, dystonias, sleep disorders, epilepsy, neuropathies, neurodegenerative & neurocognitive disorders, as well as associated psychiatric disorders. I routinely performed procedures including botulinum injections for the management of chronic migraines, blepharospasm and hemifacial dystonia; minimally invasive skin biopsies to diagnose small fiber neuropathies, amyloidosis, and synucleinopathies; and GON block/injections as acute management of migraines associated w/ occipital neuralgia. I also served as a Primary Care NP for 4C Medical Group/OPTUM in Surprise AZ. In that capacity I managed the full continuum of primary care needs of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. My PhD is in Counseling Psychology, my Doctoral Dissertation was a quantitative study of anxiety, burnout, religious coping, and selected predictor variables in critical care nurses. I worked as a Professional Counselor from 1999-2022, managing persons with General Mental Health, Substance Use Disorders, as well as SMI persons through the MCRN, RI/PRC-W, Terros Inc., and the Maricopa Co. 4th Ave. Jail. I am also a Speaker Program Presenter for Austedo® (Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc. 2023-Present) and for Rexulti® (Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. and Lundbeck Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc. 2024-Present).
