- Dr. AFM Ashik Imran earned his first medical degree, MBBS, at Dhaka Medical College, followed by an internship at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Continuing his pursuit of medical excellence, he obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the New York Institute of Technology, College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai South Nassau, where he also served as assistant chief resident. Dr. Imran later joined Mount Sinai South Nassau as a Hospitalist, balancing his clinical responsibilities with academic involvement. His passion for endocrinology led him to pursue specialized training in the Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism fellowship program at One Brooklyn Health in New York. Dr. Imran presently holds the position of chief endocrinology fellow at the One Brooklyn Health System.
