• Dr Agnes Kovacs is an ambulatory family medicine physician with focus on Primary Care (nonPalliative, nonGeriatric, nonPain). She attended the Medical College of Georgia and completed her family medicine residency at Atlanta Medical Center in 2006.
  She went on and practiced at GradyHospital's AsaYanceyClinic for four years. There she gained experience in preventive medicine and treatment of common chronic problems such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, gout, thyroid disease, asthma, depression etc. Prior to joining Emory Healthcare she worked for PerimeterClinicBuckhead for eight years. In this clinic she enriched her professional experience with treating urgent medical needs such as sexually transmitted diseases, acute cough, abdominal pain, laceration repair, I&D of abscesses, rashes etc. Dr Kovacs can meet patients' primary care family medicine needs. For complex/severe medical problems or disabling conditions, beyond the scope of her expertise in ambulatory family medicine, she refers to excellent specialists within Emory Healthcare. At this point Dr Kovacs does not provide NursingHomeCare or LongTermHomeHealth or AssistedLivingSupervision. Dr Kovacs is fluent in Hungarian and welcomes Hungarian speaking patients.
