Dr. Ahamefula Onyike, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and fellowship-trained specialist in hip and knee replacement. He is the founder of Avante Orthopaedics a center in College Park, Maryland, offering urgent care, telehealth, regenerative orthopaedics, and physical therapy.
Dr. Onyike also serves as a consultant with MedStar Orthopaedic Institute, seeing patients in Brandywine and White Plains. He earned his MD from Rutgers NJ Medical School in 1999, completed residency at Howard University, and pursued fellowship training at VCU Health. He maintains a global practice and has established surgical hospitals in Africa.
