Summary

  • I am now fully retired from medical practice ( Anatomical and Clinical Pathology with Post Residency training
    In Medical Microbiology and Molecular
    Diagnostics).
I have collaborated with Dr. Willy Burdgorfer and Dr. Tom Schwan in my
    Lyme disease activities.
    My research interests have embraced
Borrelia Burgdorferi, Miyamotoi, and Mayonii infections, Gestational Lyme Borreliosis, Sudden Infant Death, NeuroOphthalmogy of Spirochetal infections ( with J Lawton Smith MD),
    And the categories of Dementing
Illnesses caused by or linked to chronic
CNS spirochetal infections ( Syphilis, Leptospirosis, and Borreliosis)
I have posted free lectures on the internet
    Devoted to plain English commentaries
On Lyme Borreliosis and its pathological substrates.
    My website -http://www.molecularalzheimer.org.
In retirement I am working on a monograph “ Pathobiology of Spirochetal
Infections” with Cambridge Scholars Publishers. This will consist of about
20 chapters and an atlas of about 1000
Images from my pro bono consultation
    activities and research collaborations.

I became a pathologist because I was more interested in Diagnosis than in
Direct patient care, and because Sleep Deprivation in Internship instructed me
To find a work environment appropriate for
    My body type.

I admire my classmates who have stayed with direct patient care and who embody
“ For the Most High, Cometh Healing”
Which is carved in stone over the
    Entrance at 630 W 168th St.
