Summary
- I am an incoming ophthalmology resident at Northwestern Medicine with an interest in healthcare innovation and the economics of eye care delivery. As a dual MD/MBA graduate from the University of Michigan, I explored mixed reality technologies to advance surgical education and patient care delivery. My bachelor’s degree in Italian and experience as a Fulbright Scholar in Italy have provided me with a global perspective and strong communication skills. At the Aravind Eye Care System in Madurai, India, I conducted comprehensive financial analysis and developed forecasting models to support strategic decision-making for the one of the world's largest eye care organizations. My research efforts also include evaluating cost efficiency in ophthalmic surgeries, applying time-driven activity-based costing methodologies. Outside of my professional pursuits, I am an avid gamer, and I enjoy participating in amateur photography and volunteering as a radio DJ.
