Summary
- I am board certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine. I am in private practice in New York City and in Long Island at Kofinas Perinatal PC. My current practice is only consultative and I provide high-risk management with emphasis on prevention of all major pregnancy related complications. At Kofinas Perinatal we see primarily patients with recurrent pregnancy loss, pregnancies conceived by ART (singleton and multiple), patients with poor obstetrical histories and help them achieve a healthy and term pregnancy. We provide pre-conceptional consultations and pregnancy follow up to patients with specific problems of multi-factorial thrombophilia and reproductive immunological complications. We identify causes of recurrent IVF failures and treat such patients successfully. I have recently authored the book, The Working Womb.
