Summary

• I am a board-certified General Adult psychiatrist with a small private practice. I completed my BA and MD at Brown University in Rhode Island and my Psychiatry Residency at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine. I am currently a candidate at the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute. This means that my training and practice have roots in the biological sciences, but that I have long been committed to psychotherapy and psychoanalysis.
  
  I specialize in a wide range of concerns: mood, anxiety and trauma disorders. I work with clients who struggle with the ways they behold themselves and intimate others in their lives. In my practice, I strive to listen deeply without judgement. My aim is to help you notice the frustrating, painful and repetitive patterns in your experiences so that you might feel more capable of making different choices and living a fuller, richer life. We will plan to meet at least once a week. Change can be slow, but I imagine your future is worth it. Medications may or may not be part of our work together, and I am happy to individualize a treatment plan for your needs .
  
  I am conducting all sessions via telehealth.
  
  I am in-network for some Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois PPO plans. Please verify with your insurance provider in advance of our appointment. I am not in-network for Blue Choice PPO.
