• Dr. Diaz de Villegas is double board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in general psychiatry, as well as child and adolescent psychiatry.   Background:
  Dr. Diaz de Villegas grew up in Wellington, Florida. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Miami where she graduated magna cum laude with a major in neuroscience. During that time she was accepted into the Medical Scholars Program for early admission into the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. After completing medical school she remained at UM for a residency in general psychiatry and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is also fluent in Spanish.
