He completed residencies at LSU and the University of Rochester. Since 2002, he has been in private practice at Greater Charlotte Oral & Facial Surgery. He also served as an Assistant Professor at LSU Health Sciences Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Marashi is a co-author on a sentinel paper about oculofacial cardiodental syndrome (Marashi-Gorlin Syndrome). In addition to multiple publications in reputable journals, he served for 11 years on the Examination Committee of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
