Summary

  • I am an interventional pain management specialist who uses a comprehensive approach to relieve suffering and improve quality of life. I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. During my undergraduate at Utah State University, I met and married my wife Kristen, and then graduated with a degree in exercise and sport science from the University of Utah. While completing residency at UT
Southwestern in Dallas Texas, I received the Arete award for altruism in 2017, the Senior Resident of the Year award in 2018, and served as the academic chief resident. After that I completed a pain medicine fellowship at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento California. During training, I was actively involved in the community and with research and remains affiliated with UC Davis co-authoring a book on implantation techniques for spinal cord stimulation and as a T3 Faculty Mentor for the UC Davis Train the Trainer (T3): Primary Care Pain Management Fellowship. When I'm not working, I enjoy hiking,
soccer, anything outdoors, and spending time with my wife and four daughters.
