Amy Robin Deipolyi MD PhD, FSIR

Summary

• Dr. Deipolyi is an academic interventional radiologist with subspecialty training in Interventional Radiology. She built a state-of-the-art IR program at Charleston Area Medical Center in West Virginia, where she now serves as Division Chief, and Associate Professor of Radiology at the WVU School of Medicine.
  
  Dr. Deipolyi completed her medical and graduate degrees at the University of California, San Francisco, followed by radiology residency and IR fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. She previously held faculty appointments at NYU Langone Health and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
  
  Her clinical and research interests include procedural sedation, interventional oncology, and health systems innovation. Her research is funded by the RSNA and SIR Foundation, and includes projects on ketamine-based sedation protocols and AI-integrated scheduling tools for IR services. She is passionate about improving access to minimally invasive care, mentoring the next generation of IR physicians, and driving cross-specialty collaboration.
  
  Dr. Deipolyi is open to future leadership opportunities in academic or hybrid IR programs.
