Summary
- I am a Radiation Oncology resident physician at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center located in Houston, TX. I received a B.A. in Cellular Biology and Biochemistry at Rice University and completed the degree of Doctor of Medicine at the Yale School of Medicine.
My primary research interest is in health services research with a focus on patterns of care and survival analysis using large national databases such as SEER and the National Cancer Data Base (NCDB), the latter of which captures over 70% of all newly diagnosed cancer cases in the United States. I am a coauthor for several accepted NCDB applications both at Yale and MDACC including the breast, NSCLC, esophageal cancer, and head and neck Participant User Files. I have extensive programming knowledge in SAS but is also familiar with SPSS and JMP. Other research interests include radiomics and clinical quality improvement projects to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of cancer care.
