Summary
- I graduated Medical School at the Universita' degli Studi di Genova, Italy in 2005. I then moved to the United States to receive top surgical training. I worked as a research fellow in the trauma/burn/emergency surgery Division at the University of Rochester Medical Center (Rochester, NY) for one year and subsequently matched into the general surgery residency program at the same institution, graduating in 2012. During my residency, I was exposed to a variety of subspecialties and chose to pursue a career in general surgery, providing people living in the rural setting access to quality surgical care without traveling to a major medical center. I performs a wide variety of surgical and gastroenterological procedures.
