Summary
- I am a colorectal surgeon with the Orlando Health Colon and Rectal Institute, where I was also fortunate to complete my fellowships through the Fellowship Council and then the ACGME. Prior to this, I completed my general surgery residency at Rutgers-Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey, which included a voluntary surgical mission trip to Guatemala as a Chief Resident. I graduated medical school from the NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine, which involved a clinical experience in Ghana as part of a separate global health certificate program I pursued. I completed my undergraduate studies at Penn State University with a bachelor's in biology and minor in global health.
As a young man, I felt becoming a physician was a worthwhile journey to find a sense of meaning and fulfillment. I am incredibly fortunate to say I am living out my dream. Connecting with people about vulnerable issues that can be alleviated with surgery gives me a sense of pride and joy. I hope to have the same impact on patients as they do on me.
