I am Board Certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care and Fellowship-trained in Burns/Burn Reconstruction at the nation's premier burn center.
I maintain expertise in Acute Burns/Burn Reconstruction (adult and pediatrics), Surgical Critical Care, Complex Wound Management and Trauma.
I am actively involved in burn research, education and outreach with a special emphasis on international outreach/education - especially with improving burn care in India.
I serve as a faculty member at MetroHealth Medical Center - one of the nation's top trauma/burn centers in outcomes and volume. In addition, I have a dual-academic appointment in the Departments of Surgery and Bioethics at Case Western Reserve University.
In addition, I am the Co-Director of the Institute of Burn Ethics at MetroHealth.
