Summary

• I am a senior medical director of Provider Experience, Physician Leader Development and Patient Advocacy at Intermountain Healthcare, where I have served patients for nearly 30 years in the practice of Internal Medicine. I am committed to advancing the provider experience, with a deep rooted belief that we can thrive in healthcare by developing skills to be our best selves at work and at home, and by doing so, we are able to provide safe, high quality care to patients.
  
  My colleagues have described me as their “emotional ninja” and “spirit guide,” with expertise on becoming an emotionally available leader.
  As a professional coach of physician and APP (advanced practice provider) leaders, I have helped individuals to balance clinical and leadership responsibilities, integrate their professional and personal lives, and improve leadership communication. Burnout at Intermountain decreased from 51% in 2018 to 39% in 2020.
  I host bi-weekly roundtable discussions, titled Learning & Leadership, to grow the reach of well-being and experience across the Intermountain Healthcare.
  Off hours, I can be found walking the neighborhood with my husband, and two therapy dogs, Olive and Ollie. And taking time each day to focus on what matters most.
