Overview of Dr. Gannon

Anthony Gannon, MD, MSCE, is board certified in Adult and Pediatric Endocrinology and provides clinical care for children at Nemours Children's Health in Wilmington, DE. Dr. Gannon completed medical school, combined Internal Medicine & Pediatrics residencies, and Adult Endocrinology training at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. He completed Pediatric Endocrinology training at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and a Masters degree in clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistcs at the University of Pennsylvania. He joined the faculty at Nemours Children's Hospital and Christiana Care in 2014 where he provided endocrine specialty care for adults and children.

In 2023, Dr. Gannon accepted the role of Medical Director of Specialty Integration at Nemours Children's Hospital. In this new role, he was charged to identify and develop opportunities for collaboration between diverse specialty divisions who provide complex care for children in the Nemours system. This has resulted in the launch of numerous multidisciplinary programs that have improved the quality, safety, and reliability of care delivery across the organization.
