  • Anthony Infantolino, MD, FACP,FACG,AGAF,FASGE is a Gastroenterologist and Professor of Medicine New Jersey at The Rowan Medical College. He received his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed his residency at Jefferson. He completed his fellowship at The Graduate Hospital which was affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania at that time. He has been in practice 33 years. He specializes in luminal advanced endoscopy. This includes the diagnosis and management of non-dysplastic and dysplastic Barrett's esophagus and esophageal cancer. He performs EUS, EMR and RFA (one of the largest experiences in the world) and he is in co-director of The Cooper Barrett's Esophagus Center. He has published extensively in the area of Barrett's Esophagus and continues to perform research including an upcoming NIH study on patients with low grade dysplasia. He helped to pioneer Radio Frequency Ablation and has performed over 2600 RFA procedures for Barrett's Esophagus. He also performs EMR (endoscopic mucosal resection for early esophageal cancers). He is an expert in removing large complex colon polyps and opened The Cooper Polyp Center. His other area of expertise includes the management of obscure GI bleeding. He is co-director of The Cooper GI Bleeding Center and performs every form of deep enteroscopy including push, single balloon, double balloon and Spirus. He was one of the earliest to read the swallowed camera i.e.. Pill Cam dating back to 2001 and has aided in many of its past, present and future advances.
