Summary

  • Arnold Rosen, MD, is a psychiatrist based in New York, NY. Originally from Dallas, he completed his MD at UT Southwestern in 1968, followed by an internship at Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Rosen started psychiatric residency training at New York Medical College (Metropolitan) in 1969, and finished in 1975, completing a 2 year stint in the US Navy in between. Since 1988, he has maintained a private practice of psychiatry, focusing on psychopharmacology. In November 2019, in a process that took a year, Dr. Rosen successfully said goodbye to his final patient and retired, a few months before the world heard of Covid19. (Good timing!) Since then he has been happily retired, pursuing his many interests. For the past few years, he has been developing a second career as a writer on Substack.
