- I am a Family Physician with 27 years of experience, bachelor's degree in biochemistry at UCLA, MD at New York Medical College, family medicine residency at UC San Diego, where I am also an Assistant Professor, and have worked in a variety of civilian and military healthcare settings over the years. I am married with four boys, volunteer in youth coaching and service groups, and enjoy running, biking, and open water swimming.
