Summary

• I am an epileptologist, meaning I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy. I am ABPN board certified in Neurology, with added ABPN qualification boards (now MOC) in Clinical Neurophysiology and have treated seizure patients in both academic and private practice settings since the completion of training in 1994. Currently, I am in solo private practice in San Antonio since 2001 and my emphasis is on the clinical treatment of those with epilepsy, including women of child bearing age and guiding pregnancy in women with epilepsy. Also, the prevention or eradication of SUDEP is of utmost importance to me and truly the reason to continue to work and try to educate both patients and the population in general about epilepsy. I am very proud of my close affiliation with the Epilepsy Foundation of Central and South Texas, who support the epilepsy community, not only in SA, but in all of South Texas with specialized clinics, services, diagnostic tests and medications for those without adequate resources.
