Narine, DNP-c, AFN-c, PMHNP-BC, ANP-BC, is a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner and co-founder of Moving In New Directions Psychiatry, a culturally responsive mental health practice focused on treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and bipolar disorder in diverse and underserved populations. With over 17 years of clinical experience spanning emergency medicine, internal medicine, and psychiatry, she is recognized for her compassionate, evidence-based approach and commitment to mental health equity.

    Belinda is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice at Chamberlain University and a Post-Master’s in Forensic Nursing at Fitchburg State University to further advance her impact in psychiatric care and criminal justice reform. She is REMS-certified to administer Spravato (esketamine) and leads innovative ketamine-assisted psychiatric care through her private practice.

    A dedicated educator, she serves as an Adjunct Professor at Long Island University’s Graduate NP Program and mentors NP students across Molloy University, the University at Buffalo, and St. John Fisher University.

    Her leadership extends to community advocacy through the Greater NYC Black Nurses Association, where she co-chairs the Mental Health Committee. Her scholarly and clinical interests include trauma-informed care, pharmacogenomics, culturally sensitive psychiatric care, and innovative interventions for treatment-resistant depression
