Ben J. Childers, MD, FACS is a plastic surgeon in Riverside, CA who offers both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery procedures, in addition to the sub-specialties of hand and microsurgery. As a physician who received his surgical training in some of the most prestigious medical institutions in the country, he has brought a wealth of experience to the area – and has significantly elevated the bar for plastic surgeons throughout the Inland Empire

As for the institutions that contributed to Dr. Childers’ surgical instruction, he began with a rigorous program at the world-renowned Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with further training obtained locally at Loma Linda University. Later, Dr. Childers returned to Harvard for an intensive fellowship in hand and microsurgery, which he now counts among his sub-specialties.Upon completion of this surgical training, Dr. Childers was a valuable member of the surgical staff at the University of California in San Diego. He then returned to Loma Linda University, where he was fortunate to practice as an Associate Professor of Surgery for six years.
Dr. Childers was recently featured on America’s Top Breast Surgeons and is one of top 10 doctors of 2014 by Aesthetic Everything®.
