- I am an experienced Emergency Physician practicing clinical medicine throughout the midwestern United States for over a decade. I am also the owner and medical director of Elemental Skin & Body, a medical aesthetic spa located in Wisconsin. My particular healthcare interests include patient safety, clinical quality improvement, billing & coding, CMS core measure compliance, EMTALA law, and medical malpractice risk management.
I have extensive experience in healthcare improvement initiatives. At Mercyhealth, I designed and implemented a physician billing project that increased emergency department revenues by $4,000,000 within one year. I have been deeply involved in maximizing physician compliance with the CMS SEP-1 core measure. I have also been an active contributor to EMR documentation optimization and departmental chart reviews for quality and safety improvements.
